When Ken's posse is exiled from the Bat and Ball by a hostile temporary landlord who ousts the regulars in an attempt to 'revive' the pub; we travel with them on their fruitless tour in search of a new home and triumphant return, mapping the troubled, dying town where the pub is the last redoubt of decency, friendship and bar-room philosophy.     I bought it for my mum's birthday and she loves it. It has good information and images explaining things in excellent detail. It arrived well packaged and in new condition as advertised. Simplybestprices was the cheapest I found on the internet, so I went with them. The only negative was with the shipping, not the product. I ordered in Dec 2024 and it took many weeks before getting shipping details and then the delivery date kept changing and moving later. It eventuallly arrived early Feb.
