Reviews"Nicholas Eames brings brazen fun and a rock & roll sensibility to the fantasy genre."-- Sebastien de Castell, " Kings of the Wyld took me back to my Dungeons and Dragons days. It has well-crafted characters long past their best but still fighting, non-stop fantasy action and welcome touches of humor. Great reading!"-- Ian Irvine, "Absolutely awesome. If the Beatles held a concert tomorrow (with all the necromancy required for that to happen), it still wouldn't be as good a 'getting the band back together' story as this. Full of heroes, humor, and heart."-- Jon Hollins, "An outstanding debut which will make you laugh and cry and hold your breath. This is a book that has it all."-- K. J. Parker

  • Amazing and funny

This is one of my top favourit books of all time. A hilarious sword and sorcery fantasy with your typical 'the heros go on a quest' story line, but it's do so well that I simply couldn't put it down when I startez reading. It's a fast moving story set in a viwedly detailed and uniqe word full of mythical beasts and monsters. There are also some really sweet and some heartbreaking moments that can't not pull at your heartstrings. I love that this isn't a fantasy that takes itself very serious and the 'old rock and roll' vibe the auter intended for the carecters is deffenatly noticable and is so perfect for this story about a band of retired merchenaries coming together one last time to save one of their children and in doing so embarking upon the most dangerous mission that they ever have attempted. A truely epic story from an amazing writer, that I highly recogment to everyone. It's an easy and fantastial story perfect for all ages and preferances. Fun and exciting with alot of heart. P.s English isn't my first launguage, so pease excuse the less then perfect spelling and grama.
