    Great Reception!

    Have used the popular 3M/Made in China units in the past. Compared to those, this unit is light years ahead in reception sensitivity and sound quality. It has twice as many presets available and feels more comfortable when wearing them. I found a used pair in excellent condition on eBay for less than half what a new set costs. Knowing the quality of sound and reception of weaker signals these have I would not hesitate to spend more on another pair should the need arise!

    Well-made. Controls take some getting used to.

    This is well-made, reception is strong, and the battery life is good. The only hitch is that the controls are not intuitive, so requires that one read the instructions and remember the quirks.

    Awesome headphones

    Best earmuffs that I've owned

    I have had several radio muffs in the past including 3M Worktunes and have had problems with them. Reception was spotty on weaker stations and on the first pair, the speaker in one side became intermittent after a short time. The second pair had digital tuning and started jumping around stations by itself. The last pair failed completely after only 2 months. I have been using the Howard Leight muffs for 10 months and they seem to have better reception and I think they are of better quality. I just ordered a second pair.

    Makes work more enjoyable

    First thing my husband grabs when he heads outside to work. Over the years I have purchased 3 of this headset. My husband loves them. The radio is very clear and keeps equipment noise out. Great price too.
