    Great little 40 ch. tube radio....built like a brick SH_THOUSE....no lie!!

    These radios were and still are highly sought after for their build quality ,receive, and transmit,but also for being one of the first 40 channel Tube rigs to have 40 channels with a digital readout,and receive/transmit tubes (which in my opinion is far superior to solid state any day of the week).......it shares this honor with the likes of the Tram D201A,the Browning Mark-4. They are built so well that there are so many still around and working like they did the day they were made! (some cosmetically worse then others...but keep in mind they are almost 40 year old radios) . After a long search i have found my own "Yellow Bird" and with a little TLC it will be a welcome addition to my ever growing collection of frequency worthy radio's.....73's
