      It was supplied with vintage Technics turntables to align the cartridge and the tip of the stylus at 52 mm for the lowest tracking error and minimum distortion. It's a great tool, and easy to use.

      It Works, What Do You Expect?

      Technics have provided these useful gauges with their fine turntables for about 50 years. The gauge is needed to properly mount the cartridge in the tone arm headshell so the stylus will correctly track the the groove of a vinyl record.
