    Bright LED Lenser PR7

    This hand torch is as advertised. On maximum power the light is very bright and when focussed down can illuminate sensibly up to 100 meters. The wide focus is broad enough for most puposes but the narrow focus is not quite narrow enough to pick out smaller objects at distance. The lowest power setting is quite dim, the mid setting being the most useful. Operating the torch controls, especially the light mode switch, one handed is quite difficult. It is not possible to hold the torch in one position and operate both focus/lock and the light switch. The USB charge feature is useful if either USB power sockets or a computer are readily available. The magnetic, torch holding, charger bracket is a really neat feature. Overall a well made, reasonably well designed, very useful torch package.

    +power,zoom; -control,pouch

    To change light mode (full,half etc.) it has to be switched off-on again instead of just light press of the button.Pouch is also less quality compare to previous models.(I own 5 so I know what I'm talking about) These are 2 drawbacks in my opinion.1000lumens+awesome zoom are just great.Money well spent.

    Amazing Torch!

    After lengthy research I bought one of these torches to use in my home workshop. It has good reviews & specs & I must say that it is probably the best torch I've ever owned. I've had so many of those cheaper aluminum torches that take the three AAA batteries & they aren't all that bright & the batteries last no time at all. The LED Lenser P7R Torch has three brightness levels & on the brightest setting, it really is super bright. I'm guessing this is why it is so expensive! It has been well designed & well engineered. A good, solid & reasonably sized torch to have handy in your garage. I really like the wall-mountable magnetic holder, which will always keep the battery charged & ready to use. Its worth shopping around to find this particular torch at the best price. You really won't ...
