I chose this product for the grind and volume settings but got so much more. Great design, grind chamber removes for cleaning and filling. Love the hidden cord feature for easy storage. Sell me a damn replacement lid!
I'm surprised to be asked to review this product now; I don't know how long I've had it. At least a year, I'm sure, maybe several. I've always been very satisfied with it, and I'd give it 4 or 5 stars-- except for a problem with the lid. The lid is plastic, and it's a little tricky to lock it in place when you use it. I'm OK with that. But a little piece of it broke off a while ago, and it became a little harder to use, and then apparently another little piece broke off, so now it's VERY tricky to use; I often need several tries to get it started, and I have to stand there and hold it down. You wouldn't even notice the lid is broken by looking at it, until you try to use it. Now, I wouldn't mind that; I would be happy to order a replacement lid-- except replacement lids have been out of stock at least for months, and there's no evidence that they have any intention of ever making any more. If I could get a new lid for it, I'd answer those questions differently and give it more stars. Support is part of the value of the product, and they're not supporting it. It's to the point where I'm considering getting another grinder, even though this one would be perfectly fine if I could just get a replacement lid. True to its name: Custom Grind
Stainless steel cup that is removable. Easy to pour out ground coffee/spices/seeds, easy to wash too. It has 3 grind settings that gives the custom grind options I desire. I set it on 'fine' and the peppercorn/seeds comes out like powder. The clear top shows the consistency of what you're grinding and automatically shuts off when finished. A tiny brush attached on the back of the unit to brush out all the contents in the cup. A bit too small for me though. Power cord is stored by pulling the base of the unit and wrapping it around the 'stem' and pushing the base back. No cords hanging loose. A good design overall.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Superb design BUT wrong voltage
After more than 25 years my Bosch variable grind blade coffee grinder gave up the ghost this seemed like an ideal replacement if not an improvement. When I plugged the US two pin plug into my European adaptor the motor blew! You guessed it, it was rated 120v and we run 240v.
