    Ian Dury CD

    A comprehensive retrospective of Ian Dury (and the Blockheads). Every essential track is her, from the tight funk of “Wake Up” to the music hall whimsy of “Billericay Dickie”. The combination of Dury’s street lyrics and the gloriously funky musical arrangements of the Blockheads is a winning one….and unique for the time. Also included here are several tracks from Dury’s earlier incarnation as Kilburn and the High Roads. An excellent compilation and unless you are a super fan it’s all the Ian Dury you’ll ever need. Excellent.

    Immaculate collection, The Works! - I still remember "Profoundly in love with Pandora" well from the tv series "Growing pains of Adrian Mole" back in the eighties when I grew up ! Rest in peace, Ian ! Bless !
