    Great Little Brother

    This printer is easy to set up, but with one problem. We have two iMacs, and the first printer install went fast and easy. I never could get an independent print queue set up on the second iMac, but had to enable the SHARE feature on the first iMac. This allows both iMac to have access to the Borther printer, but the primary Mac has to be ON or the 2nd iMac has no access. I still gave the printer 5 stars, because this seems to be a software problem, not a printer problem. My old Lexmark allowed two independent queues on the two iMacs. I have found the graphics printing to be quite good, although another review had mentioned that printing graphics on the Brother was lacking. Not my experience. I will admit that the print definition is not as good as my previous laser ...

    Won't stay connected to Wi-Fi

    I didn't realize that this was a black and white only printer, which is fine. The VERY frustrating thing is that I purchased it with the hopes of being able to print from the second floor of my home via Wi-Fi, unfortunately it will not stay connected or allow me to print to it unless I am literally in the same room...

    Setup was quite easy. I set this up completely via the WiFi. It was a bit confusing, it gave me the impression the setup didn't succeed, but when I went and tested it my PC connected to the printer and printed successfully. I've had this printer two weeks now. I have not had any problems with the printer disconnecting from the WiFi, it has responded every time I have accessed it. I am so happy to be through with inkjet cartridges and waiting on the time it takes to print a page on inkjet printers. I submit a print job and the printed document is waiting for me when I get to the printer. Print quality is better than I expected. I am very satisfied with this device.

    An Ideal Home Multi-Function Unit!

    Works like a champ! I'm no techie. I'm in my 60s and, although I built my first couple of computers in the 80s, I haven't understood these newer units for decades. But the setup of this machine was foolproof and I was up and running the printer, scanning documents to email, etc. etc. in mere minutes! Powerful little workhorse! As reliable as the Brother brand!

    Great Printer

    This is my first laser printer and I will not be going back to inkjets and pricey replacement ink. This Brother model is easy to set up and directions for wireless/smartphone printing and scanning are clear and hassle free. Print quality is good and printing speed is excellent. Exceptional value. Will be investing in a color laser printer next.
