Die APC SMT1000I Smart-UPS ist ein Gerät zur Gewährleistung einer unterbrechungsfreien Ersatzstromversorgung. Mithilfe der integrierten LCD – Benutzeroberfläche kann dabei die Station hinsichtlich der Batterieanzeige und der Konfiguration gewartet werden. Durch die „Green“ – Technologie wird zusätzlich ein effizienter Betrieb ermöglicht. Das eingebaute Energiemessgerät gibt Daten zum Verbrauch in Kilowattstunden aus. Ein Betrieb unter Volllast ist hierbei mit bis zu 6 Minuten bei 670 Watt Leistungsabgabe möglich.
