    Excellent series

    I have seen series 1 a while back, however I haven’t seen series 2 so I bought both series for myself and a relative who has always been a huge royalist as am I. The acting was very true to form The actors portrayed the real royalty excellently

    The acting in The Crown was superb! The actors were so well chosen for the parts they were playing and those accents - superb! I found out things about the English monarchy that I never knew. I found myself googling each member of the Royal Family to find out more details about their lives so my knowledge of English history has increased thanks to the DVD!

    Bingeworthy

    Great story and I am old enough to remember much of it happening. They pretty much told it as it happened with a few deviations from the truth, no doubt for dramatic effect but fact is often more dramatic than fiction. Not sure what it gained by changing the chronological order in which things happened eg Phillip's mother attended the wedding dressed as the princess she was not as a nun. She attended the coronation dressed as a nun.
