    CTX 280C

    I was a bit unsure about the product codes. When mine arrived it was a CTX 280C. It fits perfectly in the place a previous P280 was. It's not variable speed like that one was, but I don't need that. The Astral brand seems very good. The previous one lasted 11 years operating each night. One part had a gash in it (see pic), seemingly from before packaging. Thankfully I didn't need it because it was a particular pipe size adaptor.

    Good price for quality pool pump

    This is a replacement for my previous Hurlcon Pool Pump that lasted 12 years. No pipe work changes required, so easy changeover. After a week running 6 hours a day since installation, it is running trouble free. Hopefully get 12 years out of this one?

    Genuine Astral Hurlcon CTX 280

    I ordered this product on the weekend and it turned up the next business day. I bought this CTX 280 to replace my old CT 280 because they are the same dimensions, so no pipe cutting to install. 10 mins later all installed and working! Great.

    Great Australian made pump. I have two of these pumps in my pool plant room. 1 for filtering and on 1 for the solar heating. Only gripe with new pump is it is noisier than the old pump, it has a noticeable high pitch wine. It pumps slightly higher pressure than the 3 year old one. Hoping as bearings run in it quietens down.
