    Very good… but…

    It’s a nice product, the only bad thing is, if you want to use all the features, you have to purchase the CAMplus, I have previous model (indoor/outdoor) and I have playback recoded, this one can’t have it. But it a nice thing to don’t use wiring and battery last long enough.

    They won't record video

    I bought 4 of these with a base station. Once I installed them they didn't work except for live viewing. I contacted Wyze and was told they needed SD cards. When I installed the SD cards all they would record were still images, no video. I contacted Wyze again and tech support wasn't able to help me. Additionally, no matter how I have the settings and detection zones set up, they indicate motion for no apparent reason. I submitted my camera log, as recommended by tach support, and never heard back from the company. Although they are supposedly color cameras, one camera only shows black and white. Additionally, the night vision feature doesn't really show anything unless it is very close to the camera. I have 2 other Wyze cameras that aren't wireless and they work well but these ...

    Subscriptions required for features

    In order to have human motion protection, you have to pay a monthly subscription. I’m sure I will discover other features requiring the subscriptions as well. I bought this camera along with other cameras. The others included the motion detection and other options with no monthly fees.

    Easy setup. Lacks recording options

    Easy to setup. Recording options are limiting. They are locked at 12 seconds starting after motion detected. The minimum cool down time between events is 1 minute. So the camera can miss out on a lot of activity that I prefer it record. I understand that the 12 seconds and 1,3,5 minute cool down is to maximize battery life. But it would be nice if offered a continuous motion recording setting. Also, needs ability to cache video prior to motion events so that you record 2-5 seconds before triggered.
