Works well, but not great for every project.
I still can't believe that I spent this much money on pencils, but they work well for small detail work that wouldn't be possible for large sticks. That being said, I did order the sticks because using pencils on large areas seemed wasteful and was tedious. I also found the pencils wore down fast, but I think that's mainly because the piece I used them for had very large open areas and it took a lot of pastel to get coverage. Overall I'm pretty happy with them, but I'm waiting for the sticks to arrive before I tackle any more projects.
