    Big difficulty getting phone Paired to base- could not do it

    The phone came to me well packaged and quickly.. I powered up the phone base and phone for a couple days . I looked in the instruction book I have and several places on the internet for the pairing procedure between the phone and base. Things seemed to go ok per the instruction until the actual pairing process started. I tried many times but I always got the message " no power on base" but indeed my base station was plugged in and my other 4 identical phones all worked fine. I also got a message to place the phone on the base station to provide power to the base. This system has a max of 6 phones. I Spent well over an hour and read a couple remedies for the for the "no power on base" issue, but still was unable to pair the phone with the base. I will try it again some day before I ...
