      Good value for a quality part

      Quality of the steering sector was much better than expected. Easily equal or better than the OEM part. I was aware that the hardware was included but was pleasantly surprised that the plastic bushings were also included...which would have cost an extra $15 if bought separately. All in all an excellent part and an excellent value. I would easily buy again if needed.

      Poor Quality

      Not the fault of the seller, however this gear is poor at best. Used 3 time and it stripped. Lut all new items on. Ended up putting the old gear back on. Just finished using it for a fifth time and all is good. Will NOT buy another one of these. If needed, will buy an OEM.

      Good product, but not for the LT 1050 (Steering shaft pilot bushing)

      This product didnt work for the LT1050 The gears were fine the bushings were good also. The steering shaft pilot bushing "seated" fine but its thickness didnt allow the steering shaft to set in place where it was suppose to. there was a difference of about 3/8 from the new to the old Shipping, quality, fit, etc all were there except for that bushing.

      My mower steers like new

      My steering had developed considerable slop over the years. Installing these new steering gears greatly reduced that right out of the box, and, with a little adjusting, the sloppiness of these gears is almost entirely gone. Couples with new steering spindles and wheel bushings, my mower now goes where I point it and does not wander. Excellent, but not simple, repair.
