    Demanding

    Not quite as powerful as the next step up, but the vocal clarity is good and it blends well with my rears, fronts and bass musically, which aint no easy thing, I've been through a few centers to get satisfied. I'd like a little more satisfaction but? For price/value exc. more is going to cost you more and you may not even get it then, center is a difficult proposition if your demanding.

    Small speaker - big sound

    I required a center channel speaker that was less than 6" high to fit my media cabinet. The small speakers I have tried did not produce clear dialog. They sounded muted and speech was somewhat garbled. Reviews I read of the Definitive ProCenter 1000 were positive so I purchased without hearing and am glad I did. This speaker has a small form factor but produces big sound. Dialog is clear and natural. I also like that the speaker can be angled slightly to aim at ear level. I recommend the ProCenter 1000.
