    This part stopped my electrical burning smell.

    This part solved the problem with my Panasonic inverter microwave oven -- which smelled of something electrical burning after about 5 minutes of cooking. After removing the cover of the microwave, it was observed, the two wires connected to the thermal cut off switch had melted the plastic which was around the wire connectors. After replacing the thermal cut off switch there was no more burning electrical smell. We limped through with 1 or 2 minutes microwaving our essential foods until the part came in the mail . . . then we could then start cooking frozen lasagne dishes again. An easy fix and saved me from having to spend good money on another microwave.

    Good as new

    Photo shows what happened to the corresponding part in my Panasonic microwave. Thermal runaway resulting in an open electrical circuit, so the microwave quit, as if unplugged. Had to replace the burned connector as well as this product, the thermal protector. Microwave back in service. Thanks
