    Works good but may need some color correction

    Not sure if it's due to electrolytic capacitors going bad over time or if the unit just adds a green tint to the DVD it's recorded. It plays VHS tapes great and the image quality is adequate for being 480i (even the color is fine). Other DVD's played on the unit look fine, but I've had to tweak the video after importing it to the computer with DaVinci Resolve. I might replace the capacitors myself since I have them -- otherwise, it's a great device to archive an otherwise dead format. I've done about 7 tapes thus far and am very happy for the unit for the price.

    Awesome Samsung VCR/DVD combo!

    It is fantastic. Looks like brand new!!! I saw Pete on You Tube showing it...I was proud! He seemed to be very proud of it too! It came much faster than expected. Thank you Craigslist Hunter!! Beautiful picture sound quality awesome. Great product Samsung!!!
