New 3DS XL
I like the form factor, it fits in my hands nicely when I’m playing. In my opinion this is the best device for playing 3DS games, and with CFW you can use some pretty impressive homebrew games and apps that people have made. I don’t love that nintendo went with a screen for the 3DS line that has higher but not quite double the resolution of the DS line, which means that when you want to play the older games you either get blurry looking scaling or a much smaller screen size in pixel perfect mode. The sd card placement in the New 3DS XL is the most inconvenient out of the entire 3DS and DSi line. You have to unscrew and pry off the back plate to get to it. Overall, it does its intended purpose of playing 3DS games very well. It doesn’t look great when playing DS games, but I’ll just play those on my DSi.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Problem with the item
I received the item yesterday. I took look it andfound some problems. 1. I notice something is broken inside the Nintendo 3DS XL system console. I can hear the broken piece rolling inside the system console. 2. There is 3 AR cards ( which is A3, A4 and A5) and 4GB SDHC Memory Card missing inside the package. They are not with the package. I believe the Nintendo 3DS XL I got is new but already been used system console. One thing I like about is the item is in good shape.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Almost perfect
I am very happy with the product, though I can not give it 5 stars because when I close it, the device often thinks the cartridge has been popped out, so if I didn't save then I'm screwed. While not a big problem, this should have been included in the listing. I have only played the Animal Crossing game (love it) so if I test it with other games and it doesn't do it, I will update. Also, the stylus and clear case were for the wrong system; they were for the new 3ds xl so I had to go buy new styluses. Other than that it is perfect.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

I just wanna say that the new 3ds xl as a product is truly amazing! I originally owned a 3ds regular and since getting this upgrade its like getting a brand new library of the games I already owned. Bigger screen, much bigger, and faster loading. Much better framerates. Certain games play so much better it's actually pretty staggering. If you are debating whether or not to upgrade, I'd say absolutely. With how prices are going, especially with Nintendo products get it asap, it's only gonna keep going up.
