World's Best Drill
This is the third generation of cordless drills that I have owned, My first was an early design Makita with a NiCad battery that fit in the handle of the drill. In my opinion this Dewalt 12V Xtreme is the best drill ever made. It is powerful, variable speed, reversible, has a 2 speed gearbox, variable clutch keyless chuck, LED light, batteries with a charge status indicator, is smooth, quiet, durable, compact and well balanced, and comes with an optional belt clip. What else could you ask for in a drill.

Smaller in size but heavy duty.
Heaver duty than my last 12v drill. The gear case wore out on my last drill; very disappointing for a Dewalt. The drill was NOT abused; I take good care of all my tools. I bought this drill because my 12v batteries fit it and I have a charger. Otherwise, I would have bought a higher voltage. I hope this drill outlast the last drill.

Light weight compact 12 volt dewalt drill is awesome!
This compact drill has a power range and quality to do a wide range of projects. It's quality is apparent from job one. Love the led placed on the battery, allowing better illumination of the bit point.

A great 12v drill
If you need a general purpose drill this is a great choice. I use it as a screw driver in conjunction with a more powerful Dewalt 20V drill that I use for drilling. It is great not to have to change between drill and screw driver bits.
