The item I wanted ended up being completely different than advertised. The package even had the gift receipt from Amazon and put in Amazon packaging. People sell items on eBay directly from other sites (usually a cheaper knockoff) so they can pocket the difference between what you spent and what they ship. It’s illegal and I reported the listing to eBay. eBay is issuing me a refund.
