      Easy install. Works great. Noted several installation concerns you should consider.

      One of the existing holes in my original light socket was smaller than the other and the self taping screw supplied with the kit would not start easily. The cutting edges on the self taping screws provided with the kit were not very sharp, and in the smaller hole, the self taping screw did not want to start cutting a new larger hole for the self taping screw. I did not want to force it down because the socket is only plastic(Bakelite). If you encounter this problem, do not force the self taping screw because you run the chance of cracking the plastic socket. Instead, use a conventional 5/32 inch diameter drill bit and pre-drill the existing smaller hole in the socket to the this size which is close enough to the drill bit portion on the self-taping screw.       needed to drill holes for the projector model I have , everything mounted easily and is working fine . I made a similar set up not as compact using an LED bulb for less than $15.00

      Easy install, terrific picture

      I'm not a technically minded person, and was worried I would have some trouble installing this. But, easy really did take 5 minutes or less, and was very, very simple. I would buy it again in a heatbeat.

      This product is a perfect retro-fitted replacement for a hard to get very expensive original style bulb. It's super easy to install and is reversible if one want's to return the projector to it's original state.
