    Unit was advertised as new but in the interest of full disclosure I believe it should have been ad'ed as an "open box" item as the tape was cut at the end flaps and the top of box was poorly taped closed over old tape, that being stated the printer inside is clearly never used and the price was right so I have no complaints.     Belts dont last long.

    It is well made and sharpens blade nice but belts only seem to last for 4 to 6 sharpenings then become ineffective. Not sure how much belts cost but should have a bunch on hand if you have a lot of sharpening to do.

    Better than expected

    It's ready to go right out of the box and sharpened my knives from quality hunting knives to cheap kitchen knives with the same super sharp edge . Very easy to use also , just let the side of the knife lay on the guide and pull it towards you letting the knife weight do the work .

    Very good quality, it knocks other types of knife sharpeners out of the park.

    It doesn't take up much space but it does what it is supposed to do, it will take me a while to get used to reallly sharp knives again.

    Good Knife Sharpening Tool

    I found this tool to be very easy to use and worked really well. A small footprint and did a good job on my kitchen knives. Have to be careful with the downward pressure to use when sharpening a knife so as not to cut into the plastic grove the knife sits in. Would be a much better tool with a little more metal in the unit, but I guess that would raise the price I imagine. I would recommend it to the average user.
