    Charming stories for animal lovers of any age.

    I grew up reading James Herriot's stories for children. When I received the book to give as a gift to my young niece, I couldn't believe how much I enjoyed rereading the wonderful tales. I highly recommend to pet lovers of any age.

    This is a beautiful book with gorgeous illustrations that cover the entire page. The stories are timeless and perfect for boys or girls (or men and women!). James Herriot was a wonderful storyteller. There are several versions of this book with the same cover. Go figure.

    One of the best books for children

    We absolutely LOVE this book. All Children Love it! The stories are real, which makes them very appealing for kids (and adults too). The illustrators are true artists, they did a magnificent job. Specially Peter Barrett. I recommend this book to read aloud for the entire family!
