    This was a great value as far as cost. That said, it was still a very expensive purchase. I was very nervous I could be sent a flawed or broken item from a scammer. Product was advertised as basically new except original box/packaging missing. Thankfully, that is exactly what was received. The seller shipped the product the very next day and received quickly.     After receiving a lens that was mislabeled as “open box” & the seller was notified of it, they offered to accept a return or partial refund. So they partially refunded me to even out how much the lens should have cost given its true condition. So even though a minor mishap occurred, it was resolved smoothly and I still regard this seller as reliable as I’ve bought from them beforehand and they don’t usually have little mishaps like this.     When Nikon introduced the D3 in 2007, it became an instant hit and was the flagship of the Nikon line. The ability to shoot CLEANLY at incredibly high ISO ratings, and 9 frames per second in full sensor mode and 11 fps in crop sensor mode, and the tank-like construction of this body, made it the "go to" body for Pro Sports Shooters, Photo Journalists, and those of us who needed an absolutely reliable, rugged camera that could reliably and consistently shoot in the worst conditions imaginable. This body that I bought is in excellent condition and has been put into service immediately and has shot several athletic events, to include Colorado State Wrestling Championships, The Colorado Crush professional Indoor Football team, and several high school basketball games.     Nikon D2x

    Until you have tried a professional grade Nikon you cannot understand the simplicity and quality of design they deliver. This camera continues to reflect the balance, ease of operation, reliability and balance I've come to expect from Nikon professional cameras. Image quality is fantastic and the ability to use all Nikon lenses is a big plus. I continue to use micro nikkor lens from the manual focus era and they work great. I use af-d lens from the film era and they work perfectly. Great camera!

    Nikon D3 Classic

    The Nikon D3 is a Nikon classic. It is the first full frame Professional digital camera that Nikon produced. It is built like a tank and produces beautiful image quality. No video or wifi, just pro grade still camera. To hold it in you hands and look through the big bright optical viewfinder is a joy!

    2nd best camera of all time

    Close to 15 years since the D3 came out and it's still a major player in the photography industry. The F4 was probably the most innovative camera of all time (35mm film), but the D3 comes in a close second. The D3 is just super fast and takes super great pics even in low light (ISO management). This camera may be the best value on the market today.

    The First from Nikon in Pro FX

    After decades of using Nikons I have the one body that I have always sought. I have had too many too list but most recent have been D300,600,700 and all were great quality. But when you pick up this beast you know it's a pro model just by it's size and heft. The D singles ie 3,4 and 5 are just in a class by themselves. Yes their are bodies with more bells and whistles,more MP rates and better video. But if what you want is a camera to take great fast action fast focus and never fail the answer is right here . I for one really don't care about all the hype for mirrorless . I have had Oly, Pana , and have a Sony for wife but absolutely don't like EVF just prefer looking through the lens.
