    A Different Kind of 'Chrome'

    I just had this set professionally installed on my 2017 Mustang. I had my local shop check them since they were shipped and the balance and TPMS sensors were ready to go as advertised. These were the wheels that made me want a Mustang again, so I really wanted to upgrade to them and the price was good for the 'chrome' finish, which I wanted( The black finish will save you some dough). Now about the PVD chrome. I love it, but...this is not your Dad's mirror chrome finish. The face of the spokes are(almost) but inside the spokes is irregular. Not rough by any stretch, but certainly not machined smooth. They almost look molten, like the wheel is made of cast chrome. I did find one tiny( 1mm) inclusion on one wheel but this is a driver, so not worried. Also, the color has a 'smokey' look to ...
