    Crown Repair to Home Chimney

    I saved myself approximately $400-$500 on a chimney crown repair using this product. The instructions are easy to understand and follow. The product can be applied with a 4" paint brush. The danger is working on a ladder or a roof. I have a ranch home, so I felt relatively safe. There are YouTube videos showing this product being used. A normal crown repair would involve removing the broken concrete from the chimney/roof and getting rid of it. Then mixing concrete on the ground and transporting it to the roof. Then pouring the concrete into the wooden form created around the chimney to hold the concrete as it dries. This product being sold creates a pliable, yet hard seal over any cracks or pieces of broken concrete located in the chimney crown. No need for new concrete or building forms ...

    Happy Crown.

    It is very easy to use. Clean the surface with a wired brush then apply it with a three inch brush. If you have a much deeper area to apply what I did was fill it up with mortar cement then finish it up with crown repair.
