Great book, all about the Characters

Actually a really good expansion/accessory. You'd think, being tied to a Beholder, that it would be filled with weird, freaky oddball stuff; but no. It's all very solid details and options for characters, without being in any way game-breaking. New character options include old faves the Cavalier, Swashbuckler and Samurai among others. You can now consider a Warlock without being beholden to Cthulhu or something. Magic items and magic item guidance, spells, traps, great stuff. Much preferred over the Tasha's Cauldron (which is still good, but a little more oddball).

    ok

A decent supplement to add stuff. I mostly used it to find more spells. However there is other stuff, like subclasses, and magic items. What's disappointing is the amount of space wasted on names. It's nice to give options of names from both locations/cultures in D&D and the real world. However, it winds up being filler than value content. And like anything else in this edition of D&D, the spells aren't organized for quick reference as to which class gets them.

  • Great Product, no damage.

The product I received was in great shape, looks like it hadn’t hardly been opened. Not only that, but the book itself contains a lot of D&D information that has helped me tremendously on my quest.

Item had writing in pencil on several pages. Two pages had minor tears and a few others had minor creasing. Cover is in very good condition.

  • Xanthar’s Guide To Everything

Xanthar’s Guide To Everything is just that. An amazing source book especially for a Dungeon Master. New spells, gear, weapons, tables for names when making PCs and NPCs. The book even has notes from Xanthar himself that break the fourth wall as he talks to the reader and his pet fish. Highly recommend to a DM and those who play D&D.

  • The more you read of it the better

Initial thoughts on the material were a little bland. Was expecting more for classes, spells and customization based on the likes of older editions. But this has some pretty darn good material for general world and rp building as well as expanding with class variants. Overall it's definitely a worth while buy and read in my opinion, particularly for those really interested in simplifying and smoothing out certain aspects of the game.

  • Extra Player Stuff, mostly fun.

An assortment of new player options, including some less ho-hum spells. Seem like fun, non-unbalancing additions, which probably won't cause many headaches for the DM. Some needless stuff directed at the DM, too. Not a bad buy, if under $30.

  • Highly recommended to enhance your campaign.

This expands the depth of not only character, but tools for the Dungeon Master. My players were excited just as I am to use some of the new features in our campaign.
