still good advice today
I know this product is from 1993, but it's still good advice. I remember using this product line back when it first came out. You think at first "oh, I know what I'm eating, I don't need cards to keep track of it" but we do. Before WW Points and NutriSystem with portion control there was Richard Simmons and his cards. The video is just wonderful and sweet to see Richard from so long ago. But his sincerity is touching and this program even has a booklet that lets you trade off fast foods from different chains for cards. It's too easy to lose track of fats eaten or sizes of fruit i.e. a regular banana is 2 fruits, an apple is supposed to be small like a tennis ball. This kit comes with cards, video, a recipe book, even inspirational words on a card for everyday encouragement. This item was ... I know this product is from 1993, but it's still good advice. I bought the Deal A Meal program way back in 1989 and lost 20 pounds in almost 2 months. And I wasn’t starving and I was eating healthier than ever. Throughout the years I followed this. Eventually I threw the cards away which was stupid. I am so glad I was able to purchase this program again. I’m already feeling good and am 3 pounds lighter than the beginning of the week. Highly recommend. Would be nice if Richard would do an updated version of this program but it’s still very easy.
