    Snap-On Ratcheting Screwdriver...no regrets.

    What an excellent screwdriver. Quality made in the USA! Nice fine gear on the ratchet...easy to change direction with nice positive detents on the direction stops. Should come with a few more bits, but I've got lots of those! Looking forward to many years of great operation.

    Snap Off

    The soft grip ratcheting drivers have a very unfortunate flaw, rendering them useless for any professional tech that is strictly particular about his / her selection of hands tools. The end cap on these models comes off at any attempt to apply torque for loosening or tightening, it is a slot/ click type mechanism. All your bits fall out and now you're spending extra time locating all of them placing them back in their place and locking the cap for it to happen again as soon as you start using it again. No technician or any person in their right mind would hold the side of the screw driver handle and use it that way, you need leverage on the back of the handle as well. That's why I recommend the hard handle ratcheting ones that have THREADS on their end caps which are a magical creation ...

    Great but one problem

    It's great quality, the gears are very smooth. My one problem with it is the quarter turn cap on top is always falling off. Especially while using the tool, without realizing it your hand loosens the cap and it falls off, and then all of your bits fall out that are kept inside the tool. I just wish the cap was held in a little tighter and didn't loosen so easily.

    Best screwdriver in the world in my opinion

    You know that you want one. There is something special about using such a high quality tool. Super expensive but super good. The comfort grip is a great improvement over the hard handle design which I have owned several of and I like them as well but the replaceable shaft wins the prize! Pop in a long shaft and this becomes a different tool. The cap is a stubby bit holder which is genius. The price is expensive but you only buy this once unless you lose it.
