can not imagine not cleaning at all
as any electrican knows when pulling an old meter out the back can be plastered with white cotton ball looking stuff left from spiders
Just saying, if all this testing was done that is claimed would you at least clean these off
if it works accurate not big deal. I hope I can update because I do hope to check accuracy

Thanks for letting me know. Although backside cleaning has nothing to do with the accuracy or workability of the meter. Moreover backside/base is hidden when you insert inside the socket. We certainly clean the front of the meters and backside as an optional and based on technician's judgement. In your case, based on your description, seems like our technician overlooked. Sorry for that :(

When I received the package, it sounded like broken glass inside. It turns out the glass on the meter had been shattered.
