I have had a Serfas fender, now I have four ToPeak front Defender XC1 front fenders. Three are on 29ers, and one set is on a 26". They easily fit on either size bike. I can ride in dress trousers and shirts in puddles in summer and not be splashed at all. In winter, when riding in temps of 9F and salt trucks making the snow melt, I don't get splashed, either, but I am wearing Gore-Tex from head to toe. They are great fenders for anyone who is commuting by mountain bike. In addition, I have switched the knobbies on all four bikes to 38mm commuter tires, and the fenders accommodate those and 2.1 inch studded snow tires. These fenders are well made, and they are a great buy. I am not a manual reader. As a result, I made some mistakes when putting them on.

These are great fenders I had no problem putting them on my mountain e bike.. strong and fits on tight no flopping around they stay on I haven't been in the rain yet but it has stop small rocks and glass from hitting my face when my wheel runs over them I highly recommend these fenders.

Awesome split piece fender is light and durable. Install is okay, but brackets didn't fit snugly aro7nd my front fork, so I wrapped some thick vinyl to make up the difference, otherwise it's a great product.

Well this is the only decent fender I've found that fits my RST MTB fork. It's made well compared to there other offering Topeak Defender FX but that's not saying a whole lot. The only problem I have with this fender is the space between the front part and the rear part is where a study stream of water shoots up off the tire and hits you in the face/goggles. I have patched that space with a piece of plastic we'll see next ride how that works out.

I'm impressed with how it looks in person. To be light weight, it needs to be flimsy. I'm not sure how it will old up, but for now...it works great for what I need.
