Item fits my 2006 vstar 1100. Only negative would be that the metal mounting brackets have been pulled slightly inboard due to the welding process. I had to bend them outward about 1/8 inch per side to fit snugly between the back rest arms. Good quality materials..nice chrome finish..good price..reasonable shipping..delivered ahead of estimated date..I would recommend this item.
