I'm probably not going to build this for a while, but it looks great. The metallic Garnet Red has NO swirls - the best metallic plastic I can remember. All of the exterior parts are done in the same color. There are also black and grey sprues. The windows and taillights are already nicely detailed. It also has a chrome tree and nice low profile no-name tires. From what I can see, the only painting required would be engine detailing, some easy body detailing for window sills, side marker lights, and a few other minor things. Decals look complete and excellent, though I did not open that bag. Unlike Revell, AMT seals the decals in a bag and puts a paper sheet in front of them. Having lost a few decals to moisture over the years, I really appreciate the extra step. As always, packaging is terrific with photos of the real car from every angle. Every car kit should have the same. For a kit that was also made as a snapper, engine detailing is much better then expected. Full engine detail is provided, not just a plate that I was expecting. I really see no downside to this kit. It's too bad that so few kits of new cars are available these days. Basically, it's this, the Revell Corvette and the Revell Ford GT. Maybe if this sells as well as it should, that will change.Read full review
