    Superior ignition switch, made in Japan

    I especially looked for this brand of 70124-75 ignition switch (Superior, usually sold by Dixie Distributing Co) as I'd read good things about it. Ideally I'd have gone for a NOS original H-D switch, but they are fairly rare now. This unit is made in Japan, and not to be confused with all the other cheap and nasty repro switches from Taiwan, China, etc, which don't last long before the contacts begin to feel loose, and then electrical switching problems begin. Easy installation, and a nice solid feel when clicking between off, ignition, and lights, and they are around the same price as the cheap knock-offs...

    so far so good

    this is a replacement switch that i purchased a couple of years back. the same exact switch. that one worked fine until it had been left out in the weather to many times and began loosing connection in the 1st position, however it still in #2-lite position. its a heavy switch and i drive like i stole it! lots of torque,vibration etc. the one i just received did have a minor almost microscopic flaw in the chrome thread that made the retainer nut just about impossible going on. but after a minor adjustment (cleaned out the thread with a razor knife) no problem. i really don't hod quality control accountable because it took me about 20 min to find it myself,didn't want to wait on returning it. i'm sure its a rare problem and i'm still happy with the part. the chrome holds up well.

    nice quality off/accessory/ignition switch

    This is a Japanese ignition switch which appears very nice quality for the price. It would be used in a custom scenario where you had a remote starter button, or a kick start, it is not a spring-loaded ignition position like automobiles are. I am using it to play with accessory-wired and ignition-wired circuits like on a breadboard test, prior to installing some extras on a motorcycle, it's better to test on a breadboard than to cut up your motorcycle's wires and have the sun go down on you. It would be a great addition to a custom motorcycle build or the motorcycles listed by the seller. "7 days without riding your motorcycle makes one weak..."

    Nice Replacement Switch

    Installed this switch in my 01 Low Rider .Had to add eyelets to the stock wires and grind out the hole some with my little grinder to get it in but works great. Considering the price of a new stock switch you can't go wrong with this one!

    Quality key switch, at a nice price. Solid. Previous switches from another seller would fail within about a year. After 3 of those. Got this. Hoping sporty doesn't vibrate these contacts loose. Will see in time. :-).
