First, my minor gripes: the alarm is soft and the main screen doesn't show both day and date at the same time. That's all. What I love? Everything else. I wear it all the time, a sort of big oversized watch with a lot of features. You can find the details from Casio here: http://pathfinder.casio.com/watches/ The compass, altimeter, and barometer are easy to use--I love checking the barometer to see if the mercury is falling or rising. The thermometer works well off the wrist. The titanium strap is very comfortable, and for a watch this size, the watch itself is remarkably light. The atomic timekeeping works perfectly, even when I wear the watch under my covers in bed at night. The auto-light feature is cool, too: tilt the wrist to see the time and the light comes on. The solar power keeps it running well, but this is a smart watch, too. If it is in a dark place, the display disappears until it enters light, a button is pressed, or the auto-light feature is activated--this saves energy. No more battery replacement. Five alarms are useful, as is the 60 minute countdown timer. The compass works quickly for a quick heads-up, something I've used in backcountry navigation. I look at my watch a lot during a regular day, and every time I've looked at this one I've smiled. I not only use it, I am excited every time I use it. It is extremely well-engineered. Some might be deterred by its size: it is large, but in an elegant, non-garish sort of way. Unlike some, this watch isn't neon or overly bumpy, and I wear it daily with a shirt and tie and don't mind it at all. The titanium is elegant. The top of the heap in this line is, I think, the PAW2000T-7 model, with sunrise/sunset data, but--while I would enjoy that feature--this one has everything I need and then some (there is an international model, the PRX2000t that retails for $1000, too). I love it and heartily recommend it to any who enjoy the outdoors.Read full review
