This product seems to be a piece of junk - I have never bought an appliance that seemed so cheaply made. needless to say, I'm going to freecycle it and I've ordered a different brand. The 'rice bowl' my husband put in the trash thinking it was from takeout! the plastic it's made from looks like it will crack if you look at it crosseyed. Also, water leaks all over the place from the steam dripping down. Even the bottom part, which looks like metal in the photo is plastic. Stay far away from this item.
