Thought this was gonna be a time saver for me. Nope. It gets stuck in any meat with anything more than a little fat in the muscle. It actually takes more time to unstick the Zyliss from the meat than a fork since the spring action is not strong enough to push the forks away from fatty meat. I can tenderize both sides of a steak with a fork faster than this on the first side of meat. You have been warned. Did I tell you cleaning it is a bitch?

I've marinated and tenderized huge chops for many years with a fork, and had in mind what would work better. This is it. The meat has to be held down so you occasionally nick your finger with the fork , plus it's really slow. This devise works really well and is fast. You do need a long bristle stiff nylon brush to aid in proper cleanup.
