I purchased this camera as a gift for my spouse. He loved it. It's a good camera with reasonable price. If the lighting is good, image quality is awesome. It's easy to use as a beginner. It's easy to carry also. Zoom is just unbelievable, I can take photos easily for very far objects. Battery life can be better. So basically low light seems to be the only issue to me, otherwise it's just awesome. So I will give 4 stars.

This is my second Canon camera and I loved both of them! They are very easy to use, take beautiful pictures and the zoom is wonderful for someone who doesn't know how to use all the fancy lenses. My ONLY issue with these cameras (and it probably applies to all cameras) is that they don't hold up well for someone who tends to be klutzy like me. I dropped the first one from a low bench and it stopped working completely. With this one I tripped and it hit the ground very hard. Now it only takes pictures in zoom mode. If Canon has a camera built to withstand heavy wear and tear I will definitely be getting another one.

I like how easy it is to use. The zoom feature is excellent, just what I was looking for. Granted it's not a 900 dollar camera but it does an excellent job for me. The focus is a bit tricky on a long range zoom shot and it is a bit weak in the knees on outdoor shots in low light. The camera is lightweight and simple to use. I would buy another one in a heartbeat.

This is a great camera for one who sells online and doesn't need all the bells and whistles. I am a non-professional photographer. I take photos for Bad Cat calendar entries and to sell products online. I do not need all these different options that higher-end cameras offer. To be honest, my last camera offered a lot of options and it only ended up confusing me and making the photo-taking process that much longer. We were use to the small compact cameras and were unsure of this one. The price and warranty convinced us to take a chance. I'm glad we did. I'm very happy with this camera. For the price, it is a great camera for someone like me who wants a simple 'point and shoot' photo.
