The 7th video release of Thomas the Tank Engine gives us five new characters and seven new stories. Here are the story stops in order: 1. Thomas, Percy and the Dragon -- 9/10. After teasing Thomas about his fear of ghosts, Percy finds himself stuck outside for the night in a quiet area. Meanwhile, Thomas is delivering a Chinese Dragon. But Percy's not scared, or is he? 2. Donald and Douglas -- 9/10. Two Scottish twins were sent over to the Island of Sodor, but Sir Topham Hatt only asked for one. Now he can't decide which one of the two engines he will send back home. 3. The Deputation -- 9/10. The engines find out Sir Topham Hatt is going to send one of the Scottish twins away and decide they need a deputation. Percy is sent to talk to Sir Topham Hatt about it. Will he be enough to keep both twins on the Island? 4. Time For Trouble -- 8/10. Toby is being sent to the works to mend worn parts, but on the journey, Toby's water runs out and he is stranded on the main line. With the Express coming soon, James is told he will have to push his train and Toby. 5. A Scarf for Percy -- 7.5/10. Percy wants a scarf for his funnel. The other engines believe he is crazy. But everywhere he goes, he sees scarves. After a mishap with some freight cars, Percy may have received his long-awaited scarf. 6. The Diseasel -- 9.5/10. Introduces Bill, Ben and BoCo. Bill and Ben love playing tricks on engines. When they discover a diesel took their freight cars, they set off to get back at him. 7. Edward's Exploit -- 10/10. Edward must take a passenger train to the station. But the coaches are heavy, and eventually Edward's coupling rods break. Will Edward be able to get the passengers home? In today's releases, we never see one episode's story get carried over into the next episode (such as Donald & Douglas and the Deputation). Overall, a great DVD worth buying.Read full review
This is a very cute dvd. I bought it for my grandsons and they just love it! I thought it was age appropriate and very entertaining. The boys watch it over and over until someone MAKES them stop!
