I have used the Fotodiox adapter with an A7RII and an EF 24-70mm f4 IS lens. AF-S and AF-C both work well. Face recognition also works. I mainly use AF-S. The IS in the lens is usable for a couple of stops. You do lose the outer focus areas that you would get with a native FE lens. Also in camera lens correction is not possible but Lightroom takes care of that easily. I have a good copy of the Canon 24-70/4 and it is sharper and cheaper than Sony's 24-70/4 so that makes this adapter a great value at the price.

I bought this adapter for my A6300 wanting to pair up an IRIX 15mm lens in Canon EF. This adapter was EXTREMELY tight that I could barely get it in and off. It began to gouge into the components of the lens. This caused the camera to lock up and fail to recognize the lens 75% of the time. Sent this adapter back and got the Sigma mc-11, which is far above in terms of quality and performance. Save your money and buy the Sigma or Metabones.

If you use manual Canon optics it works fine. With Canon 24-105 lens F is not changing correctly, autofocus is unusable. With Canon 50mm f/1.4 works fine but autofocus is unusable also. Coating inside of adapter causes reflections.

Seemed to work for a couple days, but the communication between the lens became spotty. Couldn't change aperture, focus, or anything without detaching and re-attaching the lens. sometimes it worked, sometimes not. Might work on other cameras, but seems like fs700 is a no-go. For about $30 more you can get the viltrox speedboster.

This adapter doesn’t autofocus on any canon lens using Sony a6000 camera... I would really not recommend anyone to buy this adapter if ur looking to get autofocus with canon lens
