In my quest to increase more repeatable accuracy, I purchased the Forester Bench Rest Seating Die. At around $55 it was an affordable option to their $120 die that has the .001 graduation depth scale on the barrel of the die. The bullets in my loaded 223 Rem. rounds are indeed more concentric to the case but I haven't had the chance to get to the range to see how they perform.

Quality is excellent. It has reduced my groups as promised by forster at least a half inch at one hundred yards. It is worth the money if you looking for low runout and tighter groups.

No doubt about it -- shooting is expensive. Reloading reduces that expense and offers the kind of accuracy that rewards our efforts at the range. One place not to scrimp is in our reloading dies. Less expensive resizing and crimping dies are fine. But the one that seats the bullet properly is worth a bit more money. Seating dies performs bullet seating depth and overall cartridge length. And, just as importantly, getting that bullet into the case easily and straight. The Forster Bench Rest Seating Die does that and will continue to for several hundred cases. Not really needed for can blasting ammo, but for those who like to see tight shot groups at distance, Forster seating dies are a very good investment.

I have used dies from lee and rcbs. What lead me to buy is the feature of the seating die of FORSTER vs others. This is a good upgrade at a decent price.
