Perfect for beginner DSLR users
Really great book for someone who doesn't know anything about their camera, simple language that you can understand. I would recommend this book to anyone who is a beginner such as I am (the manual that came with the camera confused me!). This is the only extra camera book I have but it seems like it will be a long time before I outgrow what it can teach me. I can't say if someone who had more experience with a DSLR camera would need it but for me as a beginner photographer it was perfect. Fits right in my camera bag and goes with me everywhere!Really great book for someone who doesn't know anything about their camera, simple language that you can understand. I would recommend this book to anyone who is a beginner such as I am (the manual that came with the camera confused me!). This is the only extra camera book I have but it seems like it will be a long time before I outgrow what it can teach me. If a Canon XTi is in your future - I suggest you buy this book right away, even BEFORE you get the camera. Of course the manual Canon gives you is just basic (boring), and that's where this book continues on and describes everything you need to know about the camera. You can also learn a lot from the Canon website . This book is exactly what it says - a digital "field guide" to the Canon XTi, I recommend it highly. Complete concise easy for even the novice to use. The book covers all categories A thru Z. If you need info on any camera buy the book by this author clear concise hands on type and info at your fingertips.

Rebel XTi/400D Digital Field Guide
Fantastic book! Explains things a alot better and more in depth than the manual that comes with the Canon Rebel XTi kit. If you get the camera, get this book. Money well spent.
