      Have patience

      Don't expect these to be metal as they are not. They are plastic with a chrome surface which is probably the same as the ones on your side vents. The paint on the bonnet vents on my slc had faded so I took them off (easy) and repainted them using halfords obsidian black which was a perfect match. Under the chrome strip is some 3m tape which you remove and press on to the vent. I also added a bit of super glue so that it's a permanent fixture. In all I liked the product and would recommend as it gives the bonnet some bling or is it that I have pimped my ride....
