    Build your Proxmox or FreeNAS with this card.

    I've built a Proxmox server. This allows me to run Virtual Machines and the file system is based on ZFS. This is the card you want because with ZFS you need to connect a lot of drives and let the ZFS handle the RAID stuff. 3TB SAS drives are cheap on ebay right now meaning I bought ten and connected eight. The SAS ones are better and cheaper because you need a card like this to use them. Remember to get the proper SAS cables not the SATA ones.
