It writes perfectly (I got the fine nib) and looks great. I inked it with Taccia Cha and I think it’s perfect for the pen.

I was nervous about trying a new fill mechanism but this was fairly user friendly and I was able to fill my pen quickly. The ink capacity is fabulous and I love that it forms a seal when not in use. This pen will be a travel companion for sure!! The amber is subtle in appearance - this pen isn’t “flashy” but has an understated elegance that makes it a lovely tool that will get a lot of use. It shipped fast and in good condition.
