    Good Pump

I have used a raft of different pumps in solar aquaponics set ups with varying degrees of success. These are by far the best low voltage, reliable pumps I've used. They are very efficient and silent pumps. I use them on 12V and very low head (30-40cm). Data sheet says they use 5W at this voltage, but solar controller measures 3.6W usage. I bought these pumps to replace one which stopped working after 2 years continuous use (still works at 24V when tested). The pumps transfer close to 900Lph.I highly recommend these pumps.

    solar pump

runs okay off battery but pump draws more power than solar panel will produce, so don't expect it to charge battery while using pump and still have enough power to run at night

  • disappointing

the pump runs fine seems to have no problems the solar panel is not 140w as described problely 25-30w and the battery a total waste of money. if you need a 100- 200 litres of water moved a day it will be fine. the pump when set up with a 64w amphoras silicone solar panel (about 4times the fiscal size of the panel suppled) and regulator with a second hand car battery will push about1000 to1500 litres a day.

  • Good Pump for deep bore applications with daily uses of 1000 to 1500 L.

Arrived within 2 weeks. I put it down 40m in a 50 m bore. I had to purchase a submersible resin cable joiner separately. Put it down the well in Jan of 2022 and it is now April 2022 and it has worked fine. The instruction said for long life have the pump rest every few hours for about 1 hour. I purchased a 12V timer and use it to turn the pump on and off. I can get about 200 L per hour out of the pump. The rate is based on being 40 m down a hole and coming at least 12 m above the ground. I need to lift about 1000 L per day out of the well which this pump does easily. I purchase a Giantz pressure switch to regulate the pump when the header tank got full. It did not work as the voltage is 12V and the pressure sensor/switch system required 240V to operate.

  • Definitely worth considering.

Not a high volume pump that would run a sprinkler, however it delivers a steady flow at a lift of almost 15 meters through fifty meters of half inch pipe. Under these conditions it filled a 3800L tank in 8 hours. It is very quiet in operation. Have been using it for almost a year now and it's certainly good value for the purchase price.
