About this product

Product Information

Another tempest in a teapot from the national bestselling author of The Jasmine Moon Murder . At Charleston's Spoleto festival, teashop owner Theodosia Browning is far from festive when the Poet's Tea is forced indoors by rain. But rain proves to be the least of her problems after a local auction house owner plummets from a balcony to his death-and it looks like someone helped him over the edge. With a full kettle of suspects, Theodosia investigates and uncovers a criminal enterprise of art forgery, fraud--and murder--that leads her into the murky swamps of the South Carolina Lowcountry. Now, she's hot on the heels of a criminal who plans on showing her just how dangerous it is to stick her sensitive nose where it doesn't belong.

  • Tea Lover's Delight! HARDCOVER 2005

I have read all the tea shop mysteries, so far, by Ms. Childs and they just get better and better. This one held a small surprise I had not anticipated, but found it to be very welcome! The city of Charleston, South Carolina could not be portrayed any more vividly and you can almost feel yourself attending all the special events and teas right along with Theodosia and her friends. The delicious recipes talked about in the book are printed in the back which makes it more than a pleasant read! I hope the characters continue to develop, as they have been.....it makes for some wonderful, cozy reading.

  • Indigo Tea Shop

Delightful story in a series of stories of the owner of a tea shop who does sleuthing in her spare time. You'll love the characters and the recipes at the end of each book.

  • Chamomile Mourning by Laura Childs

I love Laura Childs series of books about the Indigo Tea Shop. You have several suspects and as good as I am about guessing who done it I still don't find out til the end of the book. Great writing and light reading.
