Solid easy to fit FM antenna system.
Firstly the antenna hoop splits to allow the unit to fit around the mounting pole without disturbing anything above it on the same pole. The clamp is designed to fit a wide range of pole sizes and grip firmly. The antenna is made from sturdy materials so doesn't bend when a sparrow lands on it let alone a turkey sized raven. Connection is super simple. The TV antenna cable loops through the FM antenna and in so doing the FM signal is injected into the same cable network, no extra cabling needed, just a short patch chord between the TV and FM hoop antennas. The Diplexer wall plate (fancy name for splitter) splits the TV and FM signals for connection to your TV and Radio, it replaces the wall plate that you probably already have. Finally in test my FM receiver gained 10+ extra stations over ... This Antenna is not water proof, 22mm of rain and the balun box was full of water shorting out the signal. The water gets in between the pop rivets and the holes in the plastic box. It is directional towards the balun box with virtually nothing to the sides. The foIded dipoles look like they where bent around a fence post complete with kinks. I finished up pulling it down and making a 1/4 wave monopole antenna that performs much better, is water proof and is omnidirectional.This Antenna is not water proof, 22mm of rain and the balun box was full of water shorting out the signal.
